The harsh winds blow through the dry dessert
It blows through miles and miles of rough tarrain
Passing unflathomable amounts of grains of sand
Harshly whipping any living thing down to nothing in seconds
With its unforgiving power and might
It leaves vast emptiness in its path
Taking away every drop of water
The ultimate source of life
Yet, even the harshest of winds have a weakness
For once these winds found a dessert rose
So beautiful
So powerless
So delicate
So easy
It would take seconds to take it away
Yet the winds find itself contemplating whether to destroy it
This very thinking contradicts all it knows
Yet these winds keep blowing
Sparing the powerless rose
Letting it blossom and turn more and more beautiful
Knowing that it will be back-
To watch its little flower grow.
